A Fall Home Decor Roundup

a fall home decor roundup — lyndsbianco.com

So, it’s been two weeks in a row without any new posts. I am clearly not meeting the October goals I had set for myself. I’ve been working on a Fall shopping post that takes you along for the ride as I go through the process of selecting new additions to my Fall wardrobe for three weeks. It’s been written and sitting waiting for me to put together the graphics this entire time. Yikes. Every time I go to do them something pops up that consumes the rest of the day. Life has been busy, work has been busy, and inspiration has come and gone in short bursts.

The change of the season is always inspiring to me. There is something about the way the light changes in October that is so magical. And with Halloween coming up I’m very into dark and moody photography. It’s fascinating scrolling back in my feed on Instagram and seeing the same color patterns emerge with the change of season each year. Just a reminder — the best place to follow me is on Instagram @lyndsbianco as I post most frequently there in stories and to my feed. I also share exclusive content on the LTK app. So please be sure to click over and hit follow!

Back to the change in the light… Our apartment has never felt “put together”. When we moved in we set things up in an easy way with every intention to move things around and for one reason or another never did. As a result the space has never felt super functional. A few weekends ago I got the itch to switch things up and after a week of plotting JD and I moved the furniture around during nap time and my goodness, what a difference it has made! It is truly night and day. All of a sudden everything feels right and we both have felt inspired to add new finishing touches and pieces to complete the space.

Things on my to do list —
01. Replace the pendant light in the entryway. I am looking for an antique lantern design.
02. Find sconces to go on the sides of the gallery wall.
03. Buy a pair of lamps — one for the top of the cabinet, and one for behind the settee.

I thought since I have been doing a ton of browsing it would be nice to share some finds since I know so many of you also love to switch up home decor with the season!
