Hello! A quick check in from the newborn bubble. Baby arrived last Tuesday and she is absolutely perfect. I cannot wait to share more about her — our birth story, her name, and all of the details. These last few days we have been focusing on recovery and soaking up every last moment because I know all too well how quickly the early days go by. I don’t even have to close my eyes to see little baby Eleanor and I on the couch, having her laying across a pillow, staring at her endlessly. Those sweet days felt so long and were and gone in the blink of an eye. I’m tearing up just thinking about them. Flash forward 22 months and we have a very active, wonderful, amazing toddler who is now a big sister. So I am trying to capture every moment and not get too weepy about how much I am going to miss this one day.

This month I plan to take things slow — writing and sharing as much as I can when I can. Life is busy, and a bit more lacking in sleep at the moment so I want to give myself the time I need to adjust to this new life. In the meantime I plan to continue adding to the shop pages as I find new pieces for the warmer days ahead. I am in full on spring mode mentally and am patiently waiting for the weather to catch up. March is always a fickle month. I like to joke that you are heading out for St. Patrick’s Day wearing a tee shirt and a light jacket or dealing with a foot of freshly fallen snow. Those are your only two options. This year has been warmer than most but it still has a bite to it. I have a feeling I will be leaning on my winter coats a little bit longer.

That’s all for now. Back to the bubble I go.

xx
