Hello hello! Happy Friday and welcome back to another edition of Friday Five. I love putting together this series, it’s such a fun way to gather what has caught my eye throughout the week. Especially now that I am limiting new additions to my wardrobe. I feel like with this series, by taking some time to think about what I’m gravitating towards it always helps me zero in on what I want vs. what I need. There are a lot of things that I want, always, ha! But sorting through what you actually need can be a little less fun.
This week has been inspired by some items we already own.
01. I bought this ribbed set for Goldie girl in green a while back and we love it. H&M has so many good options for little ones right now. This pink version popped up this week and it is so darling. I love her in pink. One note—this is lay flat to dry, something that drives my husband nuts about baby clothes so if that bugs you something to keep in mind!
02. While doing a little browsing I came across this smocked dress. It reminds me so much of a linen one from Reformation a few years back. It is 100% cotton which I love for hot summer days. And this style in my opinion is so comfortable and flattering on everyone. I may need to pick up because I did miss out on that previously mentioned Ref dress, and this is a much friendlier price point too.
03. This necklace reminds me so much of my daisy bracelet that I wear every single day. I’m actually wondering now if that bracelet comes in necklace form… A story for another day. I owe you all a post about how I curate my jewelry collection. Very overdue. But I really like this piece, and it also comes in bracelet form as well. So cute!
04. I picked up a similar straw visor from Nordstrom last summer and love it so much! Apparently a lot of others did too because it sold out immediately. I’m keeping an eye out for it again this year, I am sure it will be back in stock! But in the meantime, I found this similar very similar visor.
05. And finally rounding out this group is this cute citronella candle. Last summer we got more mosquitos than I was happy to have on the terrace. I would guess the plants have something to do with drawing them in. A citronella candle seemed like a good idea. I spotted this one while shopping for baskets for bathroom organization and thought it was so cute and much more interesting design wise than any citronella candle I have previously seen. I added it to my cart and actually included it on the tablescape for E’s birthday party. Thankfully there were not mosquitos present for the party! I just thought it made a cute addition.
Happy Friday friends, I hope you have a truly wonderful weekend!
