I bought this dress earlier in the summer after getting served an ad somewhere on social media. I think it was instagram, but cannot say for sure. I had seen this brand pop up a handful of times and was curious. I get served a lot of ads for brands, some of which I know and love and others that are new to me. I loved the simple design, shoulder ties, and price point and had a coupon code so why not give it a try? Shipping took forever and a day. There was a point where I checked my order status and said to myself okay, at least it wasn’t that much if it is lost forever and they refuse a refund. Worst case scenario. But it finally arrived after all and there was no need for any of that.
I do like the dress. It gives Jenni Kayne vibes for a fraction of the price — specifically it reminds me of this dress that has flooded my feed all summer. I still like the shoulder ties and design. It fits true to size. Though, it wrinkles easily and is very sheer. I’ve been wearing it as a coverup for the beach instead of out and about as I thought I might. That is a definite downside. The chest area is also shorter than I think it should be, especially if you have a larger bust. It’s roomy and offers a ton of space but the seam won’t hit right unless it’s tied lower and that causes a new host of issues — like not being able to wear a bra without it showing, or too much of a view. As a coverup, it’s great. Easy to throw on and go and looks cute with a suit peeking out.
In conclusion, we gave it a try and so now you don’t have to, unless of course you’d like to.
