Don’t be surprised to see this sweater on repeat for the foreseeable. We all know my love of stripes runs deep. The one I’m wearing here was an immediate add to cart. I clicked order faster than I’m proud of. After getting burned by the similar H&M version (they lost the package in the warehouse before it even made it out the door and by then the sweater had long sold out), I felt compelled to nail this one down as quickly as possible.

When I say I have been patiently waiting for it to be cool enough to wear it, oh my goodness. I finally got my wish over the weekend. NYC took the change of seasons to heart this year. The moment the season changed over temps dropped to the 60s after being mid 80s all last week. It was a dream.

Notes on sizing — I am the tiniest smidge over 5’6″ and have a long torso. I prefer for my sweaters to fit oversized and am into longer lengths at the moment, or probably in general because I tend to go for more casual looks nowadays and will often pair with leggings if that’s an option. I got a size small in this sweater, and while it is perfectly oversized, I kind of wish I had gotten an xs tall instead. I never feel like I’m “tall” enough for the tall sizes, but am thinking it might be something I want to check out in the future when trying to go for a specific look. Nonetheless I love this sweater so much! I am planning to team it with faux leather shorts next.
