There is something about the impending arrival of a new baby that has me searching endlessly for special pieces of jewelry. I have touched on this before but I like for the pieces I wear day to day to hold special meaning. I have long been a minimalist when it comes to what I like to wear every day and add to my jewelry box very slowly and with intention. With a little one due to make his or her debut any day now I have found myself looking out for something special to commemorate the occasion.

I have a few pieces all connected to Eleanor that I have previously noted like my Gigi bracelet and necklace and my Jane Pope name ring. Around the 20 week mark I added a second Gigi bracelet for this babe, which now feels like a tradition, and have been waiting to see what I would crave for a special piece. Name jewelry is a popular theme in my searches. We have opted to wait to find out if we will be having a little boy or girl so selecting anything with names or initials will have to wait, though we do have names picked out for each! Lately I have been drawn to initial pendants, something I recall searching high and low for after Eleanor was born. So far I have found a few that I love at various price points, sharing below.
