Notes on the Month Ahead 12.21

Happy December, friends!

So I almost made it with my goals for November, minus skipping my two posts a week rule last week, the week of Thanksgiving, and one this Tuesday. I’ll give myself a pass for last week — we all deserve a little r+r with family and friends and plenty of treats after this year. It’s crazy to think how quickly it has gone. I remember sitting in the very spot I’m sitting in right now wondering what the new year would bring, imagining what life would be like now. How much has changed since that moment in time, ah. And this week. This week! Definitely giving myself a major pass this week. It has been challenging to say the least.

There are so many good things to look forward to this month as we close out the year. I’m excited to see the city get dressed up for the season. Which reminds me… I need to give this post a little bit of an update! More to come on that soon, which brings me to our December agenda.

Coming up on the blog — Going to share a recipe we recently tried out and loved soon! I have big plans to share some snaps of our apartment dressed up for the holidays and chat about creating new traditions. Wintery style posts to come as well as The Shop makes it’s transition to winter.

I have also been very slowly sharing gifting ideas for my LTK page, which you can find here. I am so behind on my holiday shopping, I have barely thought about it this year.

Watching — Dash & Lily on Netflix. Watched this show last year and it was so cute I am currently revisiting while washing bottles. We also started with all the holiday movies like Home Alone and The Holiday.

Listening to — Harry Styles as usual, but also Harry Connick Jr.’s 1993 Christmas album.

Going — To pick out our Christmas tree this weekend. I am so excited! Everything feels so special this year with Eleanor here. It is just the best getting to see her experience everything for the first time.

Goals — Continue posting x2 a week, but maybe not on such a rigid schedule.
