Last week was a big week of adjustments. We have all been working out our new routines and settling back in to life as it was, though as in the immortal words of Uncle Harry – you know it’s not the same as it was. Girlfriend is so much more active than pre-paternity leave life. We have an actual mealtime schedule, and nap schedule, and need to get out of the apartment every day. It’s nice though. I’ve been keeping up with our daily walks. JD was laughing at me because yesterday we got out late and when I texted him he was like “ooh, good luck with that”. It was a quick one and she yelled a lot on the way back, which we all knew would happen.

Now to share a few snapshots from this last week. It was a good one.

The stillness of the city on a holiday weekend always amazes me. There are so many quiet moments to be had.

Finally got my hands on one of these sweet little knits! Cannot wait to get her into it! (But I really can 😭)

And finally took these two babies for a walk together solo and everyone mostly behaved. Did Finn get spooked by a neighbor dog and try to run circles around the stroller? Yes. But otherwise, we did okay. It was a quick one.
