Happy Monday friends! I wanted to take a moment to chat about a new page I’ve added to this site — the Prosecco Print Shop.

A few months back I was joking with JD that I should find a Dutch masters painting that had a kooikerhondje and set it as the image for our Frame TV. Kooikers often appear in paintings by Jan Steen, Johannes Vermeer, and Rembrandt to note a few. JD and I joked that we should have a painting of Finn up there and so snapped a photo of him snoozing away on the settee and figured out how to make it look like an oil painting. He spent a good portion of that afternoon barking at the tv every time he noticed his image up there and the rest is history.

The moment I realized I could make my own art for the tv was a game changer. I started turning some of our other favorite photographs into painting inspired prints as well and eventually decided that if I was interested in these things others might be too. So I opened the Prosecco Print Shop on Etsy and last week decided that it needed to have a home here on this site as well. You know how much I love keeping everything all in one place. I want this blog to be a home for all of my interests and creations.

I added a page for the print shop to the navigation bar at the top under Shop. The page is called “The Print Shop” and links to each of the four pieces. I currently have only these four for sale on my Etsy page as I test the waters but plan to add more by season. Right now we have cream hydrangeas, purple hydrangeas, a scene from Bellagio on Lake Como, and the original of Finny taking a nap that inspired all of this.
