August brings to mind long days spent in the sun whether that be by the sea, a pool, in a city. Long sunny days spent somewhere warm where you can feel the heat on your skin. It all sounds so lovely and delicious from the comfort the a/c doesn’t it? It’s been a long while since we’ve ventured anyplace far away. And it’s hardly a secret I’ve got the beach on my mind. In my daydreams I’m exploring southern Italy, sipping a spritz by the sea. We have plans in talks for a trip in the next year or so. But until then I can dream, and curate the perfect outfit for those lucky enough to be heading there soon.

Keeping things breezy and simple for a day of wandering with light pieces, a raffia tote, lace up sandals, and these amazing gold and pearl earrings. I also need to note these sunglasses — they look awfully similar to a much more pricey pair I shared last summer. They’ve got the look for a lot less (we’re talking $12!). On their way to me now!
