Happy December! It’s only the 5th but I feel as if we’re off to a late start this month. I have been in holiday mode for a while now mentally but since Thanksgiving have gotten little done by way of decorating. We have our tree and the lights are up, but I have yet to find the time to do the ornaments and finish all of the decor around our apartment.

In one of my meetings earlier it was noted that this month feels as if it’s already most of the way through. It is going to be a busy one as we all rush to get everything neatly wrapped up by the end of the year. I for one am feeling the pressure to get everything crossed off my list as soon as possible and am very much looking forward to taking some time off and relaxing as much as possible before the new year turns over — if that is possible with a toddler.

I will note that being pregnant is much harder with a little one running around. Each stage with Eleanor has been so amazing. I love every moment of seeing her grow and explore and learn new things, but the newly added tantrums are tough. I have a sneaking suspicion her two year old molars are starting to come in. I’m trying my best to help her work through them, the tantrums and the teething. All tips are welcome, ha.

On the agenda this month for me — finish up my Christmas shopping and start getting some things ready for Baby #2. I feel like I have not really prepared anything yet, doing a lot of relying on our gender neutral newborn clothes. Though I am going to treat myself to a new baby carrier. And I need to pick up a tandem seat for the stroller. Then once summer comes I’m very interested in getting a wagon! I’m getting ahead of myself.
