February is flying by. Or maybe I should say that it has flown by as this is the last full week of the shortest month. Here in New York it has been a very snowy month. It is snowing again now as I write this in fact, though it is supposed to warm up a bit this week. We are one month away from Spring and I have my fingers crossed for some warmer weather to arrive and stick around. All of this snow has been lovely, Finn has really enjoyed it, but it has only made me long for Spring more! It is hard to say what this Spring and Summer will look like, with the pandemic and vaccines, with the arrival of Baby B, and so on. I am anticipating that for us it will look pretty similar to last year with us spending a lot of time at home and going on long walks.
While I have been browsing and dreaming up things I would love to wear (all of which you can find here – I couldn’t wait any longer and launched the Spring shop, it’s all that’s on my mind outside of all of the preparations for Baby B), I have found myself gravitating much more towards making cozy updates to our home. Nesting, I think the official term for what’s happening is nesting. We are in need of a new quilt for the bed. I have been scouring the internet for a small but stylish table lamp for late night diaper changes. And craving some decorative updates like this marble tray for creating extra fancy charcuterie boards, lidded baskets for the shelves on our nightstands, and a pretty bedside carafe and glass set.
Here I have rounded up some things that have caught my eye lately:
