Pregnancy style can be tricky. Finding the balance of what works with a bump that falls within your personal style so you still feel like yourself is key, at least for me. Outside of pregnancy I’m not one for close fitting styles but while pregnant it’s an entirely different story. After a certain point I am more than happy to wear a body-con dress and find that the flowy styles I tend to prefer no longer make me feel my best. Sweaters paired with skirts are one of my favorite looks for the colder months in general and I find that this look also works well with a bump.
This knit skirt is a newer addition and has quickly become a favorite of mine. This cream color is the perfect neutral shade that pairs so well with just about everything. Here I wore it with an oversized sweater I picked up from Stories recently. They’ve had some really great pieces this season if you’re looking for some new knits.
For sizing I went up one size in both the sweater and skirt. I usually prefer to go up a size in sweaters for a more oversized look. Similarly for the skirt, I know that I will be more likely to wear it beyond pregnancy if it fits a little looser. It is very soft and has a good amount of stretch and comes in black and brown as well. I would recommend staying true to size here if you are not pregnant.
