This week’s Friday Five is all about my current favorite combo — sweaters and skirts. Lately when I’m not in leggings I have been reaching for skirts and dresses to pair with cozy knits. It’s such a great way to add a little longevity to your spring/summer wardrobe. I have so many dresses that would otherwise get pushed to the back of the closet. Pairing them with a knit gives them a fresh new look and makes me feel a bit more put together for everyday vs. leggings.

This skirt immediately caught my eye. I love the tie detail at the tie detail at the waist. Right now I am very into a neutral palette so I would pair with a simple crewneck sweater in a muted tone. This one is great and only $20! Then the boots, these boots specifically. I have been obsessed with them since first laying eyes on them last week. I love love love the heel shape, and height, pretty much everything about them. They are perfect. I also really like this tote. I’ve always been a minimalist when it comes to details on handbags. The simpler the better — no logos, hardware, nothing too in your face. The shape of this one is reminiscent of the very popular bucket bag style we are seeing everywhere right now but more tailored. I think it would make a great everyday bag. And finally, the glass candleholders. I found these earlier this week while testing out my keywords as I put together this post and keep thinking about them. They would look so lovely with tall candlesticks. I might need to purchase, though I probably should be doing a pause on home decor for the time being. But, these are small, and can still fit in the cabinet… it’s fineeeee.
