Happy Friday, we made it!! It is now officially fall and while the temperatures have yet to cool I am dreaming up all of the fall outfits. The theme of this week seems to be neutrals. All of the things that have caught my eye lately fall into that category. I do try to incorporate color here and there but I am a neutrals girl at heart, can’t help it.

This season I am interested in adding a new coat/jacket to the mix. Coats and jackets for fall and spring are tricky for me, the weather can be unpredictable so I’m looking for pieces that aren’t too heavy and can be layered for chillier days. I found these two the other day and keep thinking about them. Always a fan of a good camel number and the longer length of this sweater coat is perfect. This checked tweed coat also caught my eye. I’ve been so drawn to plaid jackets lately, this one has a great shape and length.

Slip dresses and skirts have been a mainstay the last few seasons. I have a pink silk skirt from high school that I pulled out of the archives last year and am so excited to style it for the new season. I love the look of a slip skirt or dress paired with a sweater, there is something so elegant and effortless about the look. The color of this one is divine. It would look so lovely with just about any color — navy, cream, even a soft gray. Holiday look sorted.

Let’s chat about these sneakers for a moment. Wednesday night I was browsing the Shopbop sale and came across a look that was styled with a similar pair of sneakers in a different colorway and immediately knew I had found exactly what I have been looking for. You see, the last few years I’ve been keeping an eye out for a grayish neutral pair of sneakers that are not white or too athletic that can be paired with denim and leggings. A quick search later I landed on this creamy gray pair — perfection. This specific color seems to be popular though. They are currently fully in stock here. Yesterday when I shared them to my ig story they were available at a few other retailers too (here and here), but quickly sold out. I’m guessing I stumbled onto a well loved pair and that makes me so excited. Will report back once they arrive!

And finally the earrings. I have not stopped thinking about this pair since spotting them a few weeks back. The mismatched detail gets me. So many pieces from this brand end up on my wishlist, it must be a sign.
