Happy April! I cannot believe this is the month my little baby turns one. This year has flown by and has been the very best of my life. It’s crazy to imagine this time last year I was writing about preparing for baby’s arrival and wondering whether or not we’d have a boy or girl in a few short weeks. Now plans are currently underway for her first birthday party! Everything is coming together nicely, I just have a few more pieces to put together. I am very excited about this party and plan to share all about it at the end of the month.

Also coming on on the blog — spring style! I have been aiming to share more of my daily outfits, which have been few and far between if we are not counting athletic sets as outfits, which I am not at this point. Work from home mom life with an 11 month old is a ride. I love it more than anything though. Being able to work from home and spend time with my baby has been such a blessing, I feel so lucky. But yeah, getting dressed. She gets dressed in very cute outfits every day and I sometimes wear real pants. BUT I stuck to my word of not wearing “jeans and an oversized sweater” every day this winter… because they were align leggings. So there.

I have a few home decor/design items I would love to share too, some of them around the birthday party so more to come on that soon.

And I’d like to chat a little about some of our favorite family friendly things to do in the city!

So lots of things to come! I am really going to buckle down this month and try to cross everything off of my list, especially when it comes to this site. I truly love spending time here and want to make sure it remains a priority.
